Kids Engaged in Gardening

So my grandkids love watermelons. And eating peas. But how do I get them away from their monster trucks and into the greenhouse? I do it with water. All ages love to water and they love to play with the various hoses and sprinklers I have in my greenhouse and garden. I also let them discover the excitement of the treasure hunt when it comes to pulling potatoes.

In this you-tube video you will see how I use my new journal and  how I involve Little Kids in Little Jobs. My children are all over 30 now  but they love to garden in their own plots of land with their kids and partners. I love that they love to garden and I am thrilled that the grandkids are learning too. Don’t delay – it’s summer now and this is the best time to show young minds the pleasures of gardening and getting away from batteries and plugs. Running, playing, exploring and digging potatoes. All in a good days work in the garden.
