Grow bag Potatoes – results from this year’s experiments
I am surprised by the results of my grow-bag experiments this summer and Niki Jabbour wants to talk about it live on her radio show in Halifax this weekend. In the past I have grown potatoes in plastic pots, in the ground and in the breathable and open rootpouch growing bags. This year I was given left over, unknown, organic potatoes by a friend in January. I allowed them to chit naturally, planted them early, gave the bags four different treatments and now I have harvested them.

These are the potatoes I harvested this week from the rootpouch potato trial. Corle is bored. She wants to eat potatoes, not watch me count them.
